Jared Reimer is the University of Washington's first Lead AI Architect. At UW he designed PURPLE, the agentic AI platform in full production for a community of more than 100,000 students, faculty, and staff. Before the university, he founded Cascadeo in 2006 and led it as CTO for eighteen years, through three successful exits. He is a founding board member of the Seattle Internet Exchange, the world's largest free IXP, and was Senior Technical Advisor for season 2 of HBO's Emmy-winning Silicon Valley.
